ADVISORY COMMITTEE

 The competences of the Advisory Committee are to:

a) give opinion on prepared annual review of employment policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina,
b) give opinion on proposals for the employment of foreigners in BiH (quotas),
c) give opinion on annual acitivity programs and annual activity reports of the Agency,
d) give opinion on reports on international commitments undertaken by BiH in the field of employment,
e) give opinion on the Agency's work and the Rulebook on Internal Organization of the Agency and to give recommendations on work improvement of the Agency,
f) initiate and propose activities and measures to the Agency with a view to improving the field of employment at the level of BiH.

According to the Law on the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Advisory Committee of the Agency consists of one representative of the Ministry of Civil Affairs whose competences cover the field of employment, one eminent scientist from the field of employment appointed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs on proposal of the Agency, one representative from each entity line ministry and from the Government of the Brčko District of BiH and one representative of the trade unions and employers proposed by each of the Economic and Social Councils at entity level and that of the Brčko District of BiH.  The Agency's Director and his Deputy, as well as the Directors of entity employment services and the Employment Service of the Brčko District of BiH participate as ex officio members in the work of the Advisory Committee without voting right.    

New Advisory Board of the Agency is currently being constituted.
