Bilingual work contracts for employment in Slovenia become mandatory as of 8th January



In accordance with the Decision of the Interstate Commission on the implementation of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on Employment of Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Slovenia, the use of bilingual work contracts signed between workers and employers becomes mandatory as of 8^th January 2024.  This measure is required to provide better information to workers and the protection from violation of work contracts.

The measure has been suggested and recommended by the Interstate Commission in its meeting held on 6^th December 2023.
