Linking of labour markets of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey is an opportunity to decrease unemployment in our country. For this reason, the Labour and Employment Agency has already intiated an employment agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey and sent it to the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further procedure. Taking account of the fact that more than 120 Turkish-owned companies operate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, some of them employing several thousands of workers, and that the Turkish economy is undergoing great expansion, the agreement would constitute a new employment opportunity for our citizens.
