Coordination of activities of public employment service



Representatives of the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the FBiH Employment Service, the RS Employment Service and the BD BiH Employment Service held a meeting today in Sarajevo.  The topic was the coordination of activities of public employment services with a focus on development of strategic documents and reports from within the competence of the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH and the enhancement of the labour market statistical monitoring.

The participants agreed to continue with coordination of activities of all labour market actors in the preparation of annual reports on the implementation of employment policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to jointly develop employment policy guidelines that are submitted to the BiH Council of Ministers.  They also initiated the procedure for expansion of statistical reports published by the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH and agreed to harmonize the groups of statistical indicators to be published as of January next year.
