Director Barbalić meets with an ILO delegation

On 19th February 2024, Director of the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivan Barbalić, met with a delegation of the International Labour Organisation, its Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by Lejla Tanović, National Coordinator. The ILO delegation also included Katarina Crnjanski Vlajčić, Technical Officer for Skills and Employability, Amra Selesković, Technical Officer on Strategies for Local Employment Development, and Amar Numanović, National Project Coordinator for the project EU4Employment – Jobs for All.
The topics discussed included the cooperation and activities of representatives of the Agency in projects currently implemented by the International Labour Organisation, the current labour market situation and needs in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the contribution that the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH can make in accordance with its competence. It was agreed to intensify the cooperation through the exchange of information, ideas and initiatives on human capital development and regular joint meetings.
