Another item discussed in the meeting was Section 26(2) of the German Regulation on the Employment of Foreigners.  It was agreed that further efforts should be invested to formalize labour migration from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Germany in order to provide for full employment-related legal protection of our citizen which is possible only with full engagement of the two state agencies in the job placement process. This would provide for achieving a good match between labour supply and demand that would result in a good quality and protected labour markets of both countries.

It was concluded that the cooperation between the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH and the German Federal Employment Agency should be further strengthened.  To this end, the two institutions will conclude a protocol that will enable cooperation in different areas.  Priority will be given to monitoring and facilitating labour migration in accordance with international legal standards and conventions.
