Exercise caution when taking jobs in the State of Qatar



Taking into account the information on frauds faced by the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who have taken employment in the State of Qatar, we would like to warn our citizens to exercise caution when taking employment in this country because the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the State of Qatar on Regulation of Employment of the Citizens of BiH in the State of Qatar is still pending ratification and as such is not under implementation.

All those who have a job offer in this country should pay attention to the following: they must have a valid work contract with employer and prior to leaving for this country, they must have been issued with a work permit, as well as a work visa.   Promises given to workers that this procedure would be carried out upon their arrival to the State of Qatar is a sign of a possible deceit, in particular in cases when employers or intermediaries want to charge workers fees for the issued work permits.
