Labour and Employment Agency of BiH reiterates its warning regarding employment in the State of Qatar



Taking into account the information we have received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina on problems encountered by BiH citizens hired by companies headquartered in the State of Qatar, we draw again attention to our citizens to exercise caution when taking employment in the State of Qatar as the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the State of Qatar on Regulation of Employment in the State of Qatar is still pending its ratification and as such is not under implementation. 

All workers who have a job offer in this country should pay attention to the following: they must have a valid work contract with employer and prior to leaving for this country, they must have been issued with a work permit and a work visa.  We advise workers to be well informed in advance about their potential employer.
