Today, at the premises of the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH and the Centre for Research and Development of Education (CREDI) regarding the development of the Obuke.ba web portal. The Memorandum was signed by Ivan Barbalić, Director of the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH, and Amina Tabaković-Oruč, Director of the Centre for Research and Development of Education.
The objective of the Memorandum is to enhance the Obuke.ba web portal, which was initially developed as a tool to provide information on available non-formal training and adult education programmes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Accordingly, future activities have been agreed upon, and a sequence of steps has been planned for data updates and the creation of a new, modern website. This portal will enable all labour market stakeholders (the unemployed, training providers, employers, and public employment services/institutes) to access information on available training opportunities in the most efficient manner.
The updated Obuke.ba portal is scheduled to be launched in the autumn of 2026.
