An expert training on launching projects for IPA funds has been held

Twenty five persons were educated on IPA projects
On February 22nd and 23rd a workshop on methods and methodologies of launching projects for IPA funds has been held. The Workshop host was the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH in cooperation with Employment Service of Hungary which provided us with expert lecturers.
Training attendees have been introduced to project circle and methodology of drafting a project proposal through all stages: from idea to the moment of receiving funds.
''This is the chance to attract the money from European funds through well elaborated projects and to reach new job positions because we are facing here significant funds and it is a great pity not to take advantage of this opportunity'', said the director of the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH, Adnan Delić, in his address to training participants. The workshop was attended by 25 representatives of all public services and Employment Institute in BiH.
An Agreement on Cooperation between the Agency of Statistics in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Director of the Agency of Statistics in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zdenko Milenovć and director of the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adnan Delić have signed the Agreement on Cooperation, on Wednesday, February 2nd 2011. This agreement shall improve already existing cooperation between these two institutions.
On the basis of the signed Agreement, cooperation in domain of labour market statistics shall be enhanced through defined data exchange in domain of labour statistics, exchange of information on scheduled international meetings in the framework of this topic, information on forthcoming trainings, conferences and workshops, exchange of conclusions, reports and other materials attended by employees of these institutions. This agreement should also improve exchange of methodological explanations with regard to compilation of statistics which should add to transparency and enhanced consistency in the labour market.
In this manner we will try and avoid duplications in statistical activities at the level of BiH, we will prevent various discrepancies in collected data and promote a high quality and consistency of statistics at the level of BiH.
