Streamlining Employment Services

Delegation of the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the conference ‘International Projects for Streamlining of Public Employment Services’, held on September 01 – 02 2011 in Cluj, Romania. The conference was attended by delegations of national employment services from the EU Member States and surrounding countries (Sweden, Austria, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania), representatives of the European Commission and Romanian local authorities.
The aim of the conference was to gather donors and implementing agencies in the Western Balkans and representatives of international and regional organizations and initiatives dedicated to enhancing of co-operation and promotion of development in the region.
Representatives of the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina held a 15-minute presentation on the on-going and planned activities of the Agency and had an opportunity to hear about different experiences from representatives of other countries. All participants launched an initiative for potential needs for funds in order to carry on with streamlining of employment services.
