The Delegation was received by the Director General and his colleagues.  The topic of the meetings held with the host concerned the improvement of cooperation in the field of labour market between the two institutions, especially the sharing of experience on retraining and skills upgrading of the unemployed.  The host also organized a visit to the Training and Retraining Centre in Ankara for the representatives of the Agency.  During their stay in Ankara, the representatives of the Agency also discussed with their host the Proposal Agreement on Employment of Workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Turkey and Turkish Workers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.  It was agreed by both parties that such an agreement should be signed to encourage labour mobility between the two countries and enable more capital inflow from the Republic of Turkey into BiH which would contribute to the economic development of BiH.

During their visit to the Regional Employment Office in Istanbul, the Agency's delegation paid a visit to the Vocational Training and Retraining Centre which provides training courses in occupations in construction industry.

It was agreed that ISKUR will transfer its good experiences in the field of training and retraining through appropriate joint projects which will further strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions active in the field of labour and employment.
