On 14th June 2011, in the premises of the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH, a Press Conference was held. The main topic was analyses of the labour market in the period January-April 2011. All present press representatives were addressed by Adnan Delić, director of the Agency. He availed himself of this opportunity to announce that the number of unemployed has started decreasing and the new positive trend in the domestic labour market started to roll out

''A gradual recovery of B&H economy which slowly emerged in the previous year has become now clearly visible in the labour market since the labour market is legging behind new movements and trends in economy'', said Mr Delić. But still, further recovery of the labour market requires specific conditions such as annual economy growth by 6%, improvement of direct foreign investments at lowest level of 6% GDP, liberalisation of administration necessary for business start ups and attracting investors.

Delić has also expressed his concern about the unemployment rate of highly educated persons and supported a decision of the Cantonal Ministry of Education to shrink faculty enrolment quotes for faculties producing undesired professions.
