Advisory Board

The Advisory Board of the Agency has the following responsibilities:

a) gives an opinion on the annual review of employment policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina,

b) gives an opinion on proposals for employment of foreigners in BiH (quotas),

c) gives an opinion on the Agency's annual work programs and annual work reports,

d) gives an opinion on reports on assumed international obligations of BiH in the field of employment,

e) gives an opinion on the work of the Agency and the Rulebook on the internal organization of the Agency and makes recommendations regarding the improvement of the work of the Agency,

f) initiates and proposes activities and measures of the Agency to improve the field of employment at the BiH level.

At the constituent session of the Advisory Board of the Agency for Labor and Employment of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held on March 5, 2026, the mandate of the members of the Advisory Board of the Agency for Labor and Employment of Bosnia and Herzegovina, appointed in accordance with Article 13 of the Law on the Agency for Labor and Employment of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in accordance with the Decision on the Formation of the Advisory Board of the Agency for Labor and Employment of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina", No. 68/25 and 73/25).

The following were appointed as members of the Advisory Board of the Agency for Labor and Employment of Bosnia and Herzegovina:

1) Ljiljana Jurak, Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

2) Mehmed Hadžić, an eminent scientific worker in the field of employment;

3) Ernis Imamović, Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy;

4) Andrea Milinčić, Ministry of Labor and Veterans and Disability Protection of the Republic of Srpska;

5) Srđan Blažić, Government of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

6) Muamer Bajraktarević, Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

7) Suhad Ećo, Association of Employers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

8) Branko Zelenović, Federation of Trade Unions of Republika Srpska;

9) Saša Aćić, Union of Employers of the Republic of Srpska;

10) Predrag Marjanović, Trade Union of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

11) Aida Ivčev, Association of Employers of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In addition to these persons, the following persons participate in the work of the Advisory Board of the Agency for Labor and Employment of Bosnia and Herzegovina by function: the director of the Agency for Labor and Employment of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the deputy director of the Agency for Labor and Employment of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the director of the Federal Employment Office, the director of the Employment Office of the Republic of Srpska and the director of the Employment Office of Brčko District of BiH.

At the meeting, a new Advisory Board was constituted and the Rules of Procedure of the Advisory Board for the next period were adopted. Suhad Ećo was unanimously elected chairman of the Advisory Committee, and Saša Aćić was elected deputy chairman.
